BONES BRIGADE DOCUMANTERY!!
die legendäre bones brigade!! ihr werdet es kaum glauben, aber das war meine zeit! so sehr ich immer bmx gefahren bin, genauso hab ich auch zeit auf dem rollbrett verbracht! für mich gab es keinen unterschied! unsere kleine gruppe waren bmxer und gleichzeitig hatten wir unsere bretter dabei, oder haben sie eingetauscht, um downhill slides, ollies und street moves zu machen!
ich bin sehr gespannt auf die doku und werde so tolle filme wie animal chin nie vergessen. die waren episch und voller lebensgefühl!
SE RACING OM Flyer 549.-
Der 2012 OM flyer von SE RACING kommt in völlig chromen gewand daher! kostet immer noch 549,- und wird echte retro fans und “alte BMX männer” die alten gefühle herruaf beschwören! zunehmend erfreut er auch leute, die keine lust auf ein singlespeed/fixi haben, weil er eine echte und vor allem solide alternative zum city cruiser bietet! das ding läuft sensationell und ist ein echter hingugger!

lustigerweise kann ich mich bei vielen der kids noch an deren anfänge entsinnen! so auch bei jan. in vielen fällen bin ich, wenn ich noch nicht mal in die allzu ferne vergengenheit blicke, unfassbar überrascht, wie schnell und vor allem wie gut die jungs geworden sind und zugegeben, auch wie gross! jan macht zwar manchmal den eindruck eines eingeschlafenen murmeltiers und hat auch selbigen blick, aber grad beim radfahren scheint er völlig vergessen in seinen vorgängen eine grosse kontrolle anzustreben. so begann er irgendwann einfach die fusstellung zu wechseln und 180 andersrum zu machen und das sieht dann aufgrund seiner “eingeschlafenheit” sehr entspannt und vorallem kontrolliert aus! ich bekomm ihn zwar nicht dazu endlich auchmal ordentliche airs zu machen, dafür hat er sich fest vorgenommen von immer höheren urtbanen gegebenheiten 360 zu machen und das sind schon des öftern ganz schöne banger!
da es furchtbar kalt draussen ist und jan nun zum zwetenmal bei mir praktikum macht, hab ich mir die freiheit genommen ihn ein wenig zu löchern und hab ein kleines “praktikanten interview” gemacht!
DKM reprezant. in dem ding hat er sich den namen “MARSUPILAMI” erworben^^, oder???!!
zu meiner überrschung fallen jans antworten recht einsilbig aus, wo er doch zu weilen die wildesten thesen und fragen an mich richtet,
welche ich teilweise nur noch mit einem grinsen und kopfschütteln erwidern kann!

JAN: ich find das schon schön und krass, wenn ich das sehe, aber es liegt einfach nicht in meinem interessengebiet.

JAN: alles super! wird auch immer krasser vom level!

JAN: früher mal randy brown, aber leider sieht man von dem so selten was. alles andere ist schon irgendwie austauschbar! (grinst)

alle weiteren fragen sind bei der kälte und dem schlafblick von jan ein wenig eingegangen.
jan möchte auf jedenfall unbedingt einen chrome rahmen und hat dafür tagelang im internet
sämtliche masse der aktuellen rahmen empirisch genaustens geprüft, nur um ungefär an seine alte geo zukommen!
weiterhin versprach er sich in sachen 360 grad noch höhere treppen und ledges hinabzustürzen
und lenker drehen soll auch anstehen. ich darf gespannt sein und freu mich drauf!!!!

BMX Brands auf der AGENDA Show in New York
die AGENDA ist eine streetwear messe, mit wurzeln die klar aus der skateboard szene kommen! labels wie HUF, ETNIES, the hundreds etc pp sind auf dieser messe vertreten!
zum erstenmal sind auch einige BMX labels dabei! unteranderem ANIMAL und CULT!
aus meiner sicht müsste BMX schon lange solch einen weg “selbstständig” eingeschlagen haben! leider stehen wir uns zu oft selbst im weg, statt uns von dem grossen bruder “skateboarden” mal ne scheibe abzugucken! der bmx lifestyle unterscheidet sich gar nicht mehr von anderen extremesporarten, wir haben tolle brands, die mit schönen designs und einigen guten versuchen ihr lebensgefühl ins textil tauchen!
dennoch fällt es uns schwer diese richtig an den mann/frau/kunden zu bringen!
ich sehe hier ein riesen potential welches momentan einfach noch brach liegt und uns als “community” helfen würde shops, fahrer, sponsoren, zeitschriften zu einem besseren leben zu verhelfen!
